Happy Halloween from the Dianne Perry & Company Team! Halloween is already upon us and we are ready for a ghoulishly good time! Below is our Halloween themed Wilmington Weekend Guide for October 30th – November 1st!

Trick or Treat Under the Sea

This family-friendly event at the Fort Fisher Aquarium features pirate skeletons, superheroes, princesses, and spooky divers swimming among the sharks! Come in costume and enjoy treats from local merchants, a touch tank, and an albino alligator!

Wednesday, October 28th through October 30th, 4:30pm to 8pm.
Tickets are $11.00. Children two and under are free.

Haunted Trail Tour at Fort Fisher

If sharks and alligators don’t give you the heebie jeebies, talk a walk on the haunted trail tour for kids 10 and over. Spooky and secluded, this tour features legends of the maritime forest trail.

Thursday, October 29th through Friday, October 30th, 7pm to 9pm.

Nightmare on Water Street Halloween Party

This Fundraiser and costume party at the Hilton Riverside in downtown Wilmington will feature live music, a costume contest, appetizers and libations including a signature “Spooktail.” The proceeds will benefit the Southerly Foundation.

War of the Worlds

The infamous 1938 broadcast that brought terror to its radio listeners will be live at the Studio Theater at Cape Fear Community College and will also be streaming live on WHQR 91.3! The radio show, originally narrated by Orson Welles, caused a panic as listeners believed the apocalyptic tale was a live news story. (And we thought Facebook being down was bad).

Friday, October 30th at 8pm.
Tickets to the performance are $25.00 + taxes and fees and $5.00 for students.
